Without
a doubt, the most important question a person can ask!
Here's what the Bible says...
1.
Every person is separated from God because of sin. No
one can be good enough by themselves. Everyone
born is born into a world of sin and is therefore
separated from God. (See: Isaiah
59:1-15,
Romans
3:9-20,
Romans
5:12-21, Ecclesiastes
7:20, Romans
7:14-25)
2.
God has always sought to form a close relationship with
people. He
created us and he loves us. God wants to have a
relationship with YOU. (See: Exodus
19:3-8, Jeremiah
31:31-34, Isaiah
54:1-10, I
Peter 1:1-10, I
John 3:1-10)
3.
God has reached out to people in a personal way by
sending Jesus Christ.
Jesus established a new covenant whereby we can have
forgiveness for our sins, by confessing that He is the
Son of God and that His blood was shed to pay the price
for our sins. Jesus died for your salvation! (See: Colossians
1:15-23,
Romans
5:1-11, I
Peter 2:10-25,
John
3:1-21,
2
Timothy 1:3-10,
Ephesians
2:1-10)
4.
God’s forgiveness through Jesus Christ is
available to every person. No
matter where you are from, or what you have done.
Forgiveness is as simple as asking and believing. (See: Psalm
51:1-17, 1
John 1:5-10, Romans
10:5-13, Psalm
32:1-11, Romans
8:31-39, Romans
3:21-26)
5.
New life in Christ calls a person to live in a
Christ-like way. God
expects His people to live differently than before.
(See: Romans
6:1-14,
Matthew
20:20-28,
Ephesians
4:17-32,
Galatians
5:16-26,
1
John 4:7-21,
Romans
12:1-21) |

Pray
this prayer:
Lord Jesus, I admit that I am a sinner, born into a
world of sins. I believe that you are the Son of God and
you died on the cross so that my sins could be forgiven.
I ask you to forgive me of my sins and become my savior.
Help me to grow in my relationship with you. Amen.
Be
Assured of Your Salvation
No
matter how you may feel, the Bible tells us that Jesus
has heard your prayer and has forgiven you. Where
do you go from here? First, you need to get
involved with a Bible believing church in your area.
While you can't earn your salvation by attending church,
surrounding yourself with other believers will
strengthen and encourage you as you grow spiritually.
Second, read the Bible and pray. Find out what the
Bible says about how you should live your life and do
your very best to live what you read. Thirdly, tell
others about what Jesus has done for you! Jesus
taught us to take the message of the Gospel into all the
world. Now that you are a part of the family of
God, that job belongs to you too!
